Over the next 21 days, we as a church are committing to setting aside our mealtimes for prayer, reading God’s word, and intercession. God is waiting to establish His Kingdom on earth through a partnership with His people!
General Information: The Daniel Fast got its name from Daniel 10: 1-14
Read Isaiah 58: 1-14 and Matthew 6: 16-18 to learn about the kind of fast that God will honor.
Read the word of God for each week.
Do not skip Week 1 scriptures, they are the foundational scriptures for this fast.
If you have a prayer Journal or any other journal, write what God is saying to you or what you are praying or interceding for based on the promises in His word.
Recommendations ABC&D:
During the fast: Refrain from sweets, meats, starchy foods, and caffeine. Drink lots of water, cranberry juice without sugar, mint tea or non-caffeinated beverages.
Set aside time to Read, Meditate on, and Memorize the Word of God and pray alone and with others.
Ending the Fast: Slow return to normal diet. Begin with raw vegetables, salads, light broth, etc.
Partner with at least one other person in prayer at least once each week.
Kingdom Protocol & Reminders:
Enter with the password: “Thank you!” Make yourselves at home, talking praise. Thank him. Worship him. (Psalm 100:4, MSG)

Corporate Prayer:
Our Heavenly Father, as a community of believers, we come to thank you for loving us and not alienating us from your Kingdom. We confess that we have sinned against you and others through our faults. Lord Jesus, we thank you for access to the Kingdom through your life, death, burial, and resurrection. Holy Spirit, thank you for opening our eyes so that we might see the way to God’s Kingdom and for leading and guiding us into all truths concerning the Kingdom of Heaven. Father, we commit to partnering with you to establish your kingdom in our homes, the North Tulsa community, and everywhere you send us. We desire to know you intimately and to make you had known to those we meet. Grant us wisdom as we study your word that we make live by the Truths you reveal to us as we journey to your Eternal Kingdom. In Christ Jesus’ name. Amen!
