Father's Day Message
Genesis, chapter 1, reveals to us that God is the Source of every created thing. The apex of His creation is man.
“Then God said, “Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness, so that they may rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky, over the livestock and all the wild animals, and over all the creatures that move along the ground.”
Regardless of the interpretation, it is obvious that man was responsible to God for everything created. The fact remains that man represents all humanity because, in each man, there is a family. All men were created to rule.
As we celebrate Father’s Day, may all men realize that God never intended for him to reign alone. When a boy realizes that there is a man inside of him, he can also discern that there is a family as well. This is his Kingdom to cover for the glory of God. When this happens every boy, every man, will know that this is the reason why we celebrate Father’s Day!
